Sea Alarm marks 20 years of collaboration with OSRL at Interspill 2025

Sea Alarm was proud to be recognised with a special award from Oil Spill Response Limited (OSRL) during the 2025 Interspill Conference in London, celebrating 20 years of successful collaboration. This milestone award highlights two decades of partnership dedicated to improving global oiled wildlife response capabilities.

The award was presented at a conference that brought together key players from across the oil spill response community, including government agencies, industry representatives, and NGOs. Sea Alarm’s longstanding cooperation with OSRL has played a vital role in strengthening international wildlife response capabilities. We are very grateful to OSRL for their continued support and partnership.

Sea Alarm also actively contributed to the Interspill programme. Hugo Nijkamp and Saskia Sessions-Puplett represented the organisation, engaging with colleagues across the sector and sharing updates on recent developments in training and exercises. Saskia delivered a presentation on the EUROWA network, highlighting its important role in European oiled wildlife preparedness. She outlined how EUROWA offers a unique system for accessing specialised oiled wildlife response expertise, supported by a comprehensive portfolio of training courses.

Sea Alarm shared exhibition stand space with OSRL and IPIECA — a great location that offered valuable opportunities for engagement and networking. We appreciate the strong working relationship with OSRL and look forward to continuing our collaboration in the years to come.
