Call for Proposals: Oiled Wildlife Care Network

The Oiled Wildlife Care Network (OWCN) sponsors up to US$ 250,000 per year in support of research necessary for improving oiled wildlife spill response and the understanding of the short- and long-term effects of oil on wildlife. The OWCN is currently seeking research proposals from wildlife professionals interested in furthering OWCN goals.

OWCN is currently soliciting:

• Pre-proposals for full research projects (requiring more than US $10,000 per year for up to three years, with yearly re-application)
• Small grant proposals for lower-cost and/or pilot research projects (requiring up to US$10,000 for one year)

The deadline for application is 1st May (Pre-proposals) and 24th July (Small grant proposals).
