Christophe Blazy holds a Master’s Degree in Marine Biology obtained in France. He has worked at marine ecology research centres in Malta and France, gaining experience in scientific monitoring and evaluation for Conservation of coastal marine biodiversity and Marine Ecological Restoration. Christophe also worked as Junior Programme Officer at the Regional Marine Pollution Emergency Response Centre for the Mediterranean Sea (REMPEC), supporting projects and capacity building events to assist Mediterranean coastal states in marine pollution preparedness and response. He was involved in implementation of the West MOPoCo project and responsible for REMPEC communications work, development of technical tools and websites and IT support. Christophe joined the Sea Alarm Team in November 2020 as Technical Adviser to support activities including EUROWA-2, training, exercises and workshops. He also assists with development of Sea Alarm’s tools and communication systems.
