The Sea Alarm Foundation is an international organisation established to advance and coordinate professional responses to oiled wildlife contingencies. It is an initiative by the Community of European marine wildlife rehabilitators, supported by industry and governmental interests.

Sea Alarm launches the new portal site www.oiledwildlife.eu that aims to provide access to quality information, examples and references regarding various aspects of oiled wildlife response and planning.

A proposal on European Oiled Wildlife Response Strategy has been produced out of the conclusions and recommendations of the three workshops held during the course of 2006. It can be downloaded by clicking here

Helsinki, 17-19 March 2008
Regional Baltic workshop on oiled wildlife response and planning. A training event organised by WWF-Finland, SYKE and Sea Alarm. The workshop, which will bring together interested stakeholders from Baltic coastal states, focuses on the different elements of oiled wildlife response and preparedness given the specific circumstances of the Baltic Sea.
