Hugo Nijkamp is a Marine Biologist who worked for many years as a consultant in marine conservation and fisheries before joining Sea Alarm in 1999. Originally from the Netherlands, Hugo has been the main driving force behind Sea Alarm’s continued development.

Saskia Sessions is a graduate of marine science and has a strong background in oil spill response from her previous experience as consultant to the oil industry and at the European Maritime Safety Agency. Originally from the UK, Saskia is keen to apply her technical skills and experience to the field of wildlife response. She joined Sea Alarm in October 2009.
