Sea Alarm has its roots in the wildlife rehabilitation community of Europe. Aspiring to create a more professional and coordinated network of European oiled wildlife responders, Sea Alarm was established in 1999. Since that time, Sea Alarm has made significant contributions to the development of oiled wildlife response preparedness, response and capacity building throughout Europe.
